David A. Brooks

Age 60 of Morris, passed away Friday evening, June 5, 2015 at Morris Hospital.

Born October 4, 1954 in Morris, David was the son of the late Earnest and Irene Rolando-Brooks.  He was raised and educated in Morris, and graduated from Morris High School with the Class of 1973.  He was a master electrician, and worked until retirement earlier this year.  David will be remembered for enjoying fishing and deer hunting when he was younger, and for being a loving father and provider for his son and mother.

Survivors include his son: William “Bill” Brooks of Morris; special niece: Jennifer Brooks of Texas, and aunts and uncles.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block east of Illinois Route 47) in Morris, between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00 pm.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.

Preferred memorials may be made as gift’s in David’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
