Darla J. Fuller

Age 69 of Custer Park, passed away Tuesday morning, March 21, 2017 at Heritage Health in Dwight.

Born August 26, 1947 in Herrin, Illinois, Darla Jo was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Freda M. (Vaughn) Schellenberger. She will be remembered for her love of reading, listening to music and cross stitch.

Survivors include three children: Ami (Paul) Workman of Custer Park, Robert Attebery of Channahon and Amanda Wagenman of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; three sisters: Connie (the late Lloyd “Red”) Crosby of North Carolina, Nancy (Joe) Dunn of Ohio and Laura “Mike” (Max) Valdez of Coal City, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Darla was preceded in death by her parents and husband Don Fuller.

Cremation rites are being accorded and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday April 24, 2017 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Joliet.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Darla’s memory to Hospice of the Kankakee Valley.
