Daniel Timothy Loftin

Age 42 of Earlville and formerly Morris, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday February 02, 2008 at Mendota Community Hospital.

Born October 03, 1965 in Pasadena, Texas, Daniel was a son of the late David and Sherrill Sharrett-Loftin. He was raised and educated in Cicero and after high school attended EMT training. Daniel was a veteran of the US Marines and was employed as a truck driver for Black Horse Carriers. In his free time he enjoyed working on cars and he loved motorcycles.

Survivors include one daughter Megan Loftin of Morris, one brother David Loftin of Brookfield, Illinois, his girlfriend Aimee of Earlville and several nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 16, 2008 at 10:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Ryan Weimer from First Christian Church in Morris will officiate and a private inurnment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Morris.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Daniel's memory to the Will County Humane Society.
