Dale Giordano

Dale Dominic Giordano

Age 63 of Elwood and formerly Coal City and Mazon, passed away Tuesday morning September 25, 2012 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born February 8, 1949 in Joliet, Dale was a son of the late Dominic and Josephine Smith-Giordano. He was a Vietnam Veteran and recently retired from Infra-Metals in Marseilles. Dale enjoyed fishing and working crossword puzzles.

Survivors include three daughters: Sheila Giordano-Hall of Gardner, Kristina Giordano of Oswego and Allison Giordano of Coal City; ten grandchildren: Jordan, Madison, Rylee, Felicity, Khaleb, Austin, Leah, Kylee, Brianne and Bainen and one brother Jim Giordano.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Frank "Bud" (Darlene "Bitz") Giordano and one sister Patricia Matthews.

Cremation rites have been accorded and graveside services with full military honors will be held at a later date in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
