DALE F. FRIDDLE
Age 67 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday November 10, 2007 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet, IL.
Born February 27, 1940 in Joliet, IL, Dale was a son to Josephine (Swartz) and the late Melvin Friddle. Dale attended Wilmington High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years.
Survivors include his loving wife Judy (nee Long), and children: Scott (Julie) Wenstrom of Durand, IL, John (Glenda) Schmalz of Mississippi, Dana (Jeff) Dunkin and Jaymie (Dan) Rickmon both of Wilmington; ten grandchildren: Trevor and Hunter Wenstrom, John and Joshua Schmalz, Cory and Lucas Dunkin and Miranda, Morgan, Tyler and Nolan Rickman; his mother Josephine of Wilmington, two brothers Don (JoAnne) Friddle and Charlie (Joyce) Friddle, both of Wilmington, five sisters: Fae Hansen, Sis McCarville and Mary Hairold of Wilmington, Kathleen Friddle of Braidwood, and Karen Friddle of Wilmington and brother and sister-in-law John and Karen Long of Wilmington, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and dear friend Richard Goad.
Dale was preceded in death by his father Melvin.
Visitation will be Monday November 12, 2007 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM and Tuesday November 13th from 9:00AM until time of funeral service at 10:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Reverend Chris Beamsley from Grace Lutheran Church will officiate and burial with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Dale's memory to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431.
