Cynthia A. Brock
Age 53 of Lombard and Wilmington, passed away Thursday June 11, 2009 at Provena St. Mary's Medical Center in Kankakee.
Born January 24, 1956 in Joliet, Cynthia was a daughter of the late Robert and Alice Feehan-Brock. She received her Master's degree in Professional Environmental Assessorship and worked in many industrial areas. Cynthia greatly loved her nieces and nephews and organized a special charity called P.E.D.S.
Survivors include one brother Robert E. Brock of Joliet; two sisters: Darlene (Phil) Adlington of Wilmington and Cheryl Brock of Coal City; special nieces and nephews: Brian and Cory Brock, Matthew Correll, Joshua Malinowski, Danny Adlington and Kristi Griswold; numerous great nieces and nephews and her special dog "Baby", as well as many friends at Embassy Care Center.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Gregory and one nephew Justin Scherer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2009 from 5:00PM until time of funeral service 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Deacon Don Dyer will officiate and interment will follow in Holy Sepluchre Cemetery in Worth.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Cynthia's memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Toys For Tots.
