Clyde E. Borneman, 98, of Yorkville, passed away early Monday morning, January 4, 2021 at Kind Hands Senior Care Homes in Yorkville.
Born December 2, 1922 in Yorkville, he was the son of Edwin and Ethel (Bretthauer) Borneman. He graduated from Yorkville High School with the class of 1941. He married Eleanor Vogen on September 20, 1945 at the Newark Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death in 1984. He married Ann Budd Anderson on August 12, 1990 at the Helmar Lutheran Church. For all of his life he farmed in the Yorkville area.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; his three children, Darrell (Barb) Borneman of St. Charles, MN, Susan (Vic) Stott of Yorkville and Linda (Ron) Bryant of Spring Grove; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn (Beryl, deceased) Borneman of Newark and Neil (Bev) Borneman of Yorkville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Eleanor; one brother, Wayne Borneman; one sister, Ardys Hughes.
He was a member of the Helmar Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be given to Lutheran Mission Societies for support of Jeff Swanson.
Private funeral services for the family will be held at the Helmar Lutheran Church with Pastor Steven C. Lombardo officiating. Interment will follow in Millington-Newark Cemetery.
