Age 62 of Minooka, Illinois died December 17, 2024 at his home.
Born on February 6, 1961, in Aurora, Illinois, to Richard Carmen Costello and Geraldine Theresa Beck. Raised in the Chicagoland area, he lived in numerous places throughout his life, from Bolingbrook and Naperville to Wheaton, West Chicago, Darien, Downers Grove, Romeoville, and beyond. His heart was never tied to a single place; instead, he embraced wherever life took him, with his family and passions as his true home.
Clayton’s career began in 1979, working for Leslie Oldsmobile and simultaneously with Jewel, where he honed his work ethic and customer service skills. In 1991, he founded All My Services CCI, a company that became not only his livelihood but a source of immense pride. As a self-employed contractor, Clayton dedicated himself to improving homes across Chicagoland, building a reputation for his hands-on work in landscaping, general contracting, welding, and vehicle repair. He took immense satisfaction in being both an employer and a salesman, forming lasting relationships with customers and vendors alike. Clayton was known for his willingness to get down and dirty with every job, working tirelessly to create something beautiful. In addition to his contracting work, he spent winter months plowing snow for SMI Seasonal Plowing, always striving to keep the world around him looking its best.
Clayton’s love for his work was rivaled only by his love for his family and friends. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and passion, often speaking to high school students about his trade. In his downtime, Clayton found solace in the open road, riding his motorcycle to unwind, embrace nature, and explore the world around him.
