Age 67 of Wilmington passed away suddenly Wednesday January 17, 2007 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.

Born September 20, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, Clarice was a daughter of the late Dee and Mary (Wade) King. She was a graduate of St. Rose School and Wilmington High School with the graduating class of 1957. Clarice married Allen Alstott on October 07, 1961 in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where she was a member. She was also a member of the Wilmington VFW Auxiliary and loved spending time with her family. Clarice was a cerebral hemorrhage survivor since 1974 and was given a great gift of life for the past 33 years.

Survivors include her husband Allen; two sons: Mark (MaryAnne) Alstott and Kevin (Tammy) Alstott, both of South Bend, Indiana and one daughter Deon (Brian) Lyday of Indianapolis, Indiana. Seven grandchildren: Andrew, Christopher, William, Jessica and Alyssa Alstott and Quinlan and Maisie Lyday and one Uncle Patrick Wade of Michigan.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter Emily Alstott.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 22, 2007 between the hours of 5:00PM and 8:00PM and Tuesday January 23rd from 9:00AM to 9:30AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow at 10:00AM in Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Steve Bondi and Deacon Don Dyer officiating.

Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
