Charles Rinehart

Charles E. Rinehart

Age 79 of Wilmington and formerly Joliet, passed away peacefully at his home on August 10, 2008.

Born May 3, 1929 in Chicago, Charles was a son of the late Charles and Laura Jacobs-Rinehart. He worked as a steel worker for many years and in his free time greatly enjoyed fishing and reading.

Survivors include his five children: Keith (Ruth) of Midlothian, Dawn (Charles) Paulaskis of Orland Park, Colette Rinehart of Indiana, Bonnie (Roy Rardin) of Illinois and Mark Rinehart of St. Anne. Two brothers: Donald (Maryann) of Wyanett, IL and Thomas (Donna) of Oak Lawn. Two sisters: Judith Reed of Pontiac and Delores (the late Bob) Youngquist of Wilmington and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Allen and two nephews.

Cremation Rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday August 23, 2008 at 10:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Rev. Don Borling will officiate and inurnment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
