The Man, the Myth, the Legend.

Age 42 of Saunemin IL, and formerly Dwight, IL, Arizona and most recently Tennessee passed away ­­­­­­­­­­­­­peacefully at Joliet Area Hospice Home on Friday, August 26, 2016.  Born in Morris, Illinois on December 15, 1973, Chad was one of two Children born to Brenda L. Jarrell and John T. Heenan.  He is preceded in death by his parents, His “Dad”, William S. Loudermilk, two aunts, Elsie Jarrell Loudermilk and Sandra Jarrell, as well as his uncle Robert "Bob" Jarrell.

Chad is survived by his two children, Jacob C. Heenan and Josie M. Heenan both of Tennessee, five siblings,including Leigh Ann (Ron) Stephens of Saunemin, Ron (Julie) Loudermilk, Channahon, Rhonda (Marsha Bennett) Voigts, Dwight, Rhena Loudermilk, Texas, and Robin Loudermilk, North Carolina.  He had two sisters in laws, Nicki (Greg) Boyer, Haley Eaton (Eric Swanson), and a brother in law, Tony (Karly) Eaton.  As well as three cousins who were as close as siblings, Joshua Loudermilk, Robbie (Allison) Jarrell, and Stacy Jarrell.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including Sarah (Cody) Harris, Nicholas Stephens, Colin, Veronica, Clayton, Ian and Cameron Loudermilk, David, Brandy, Amanda and Daniel Voigts, Alexandria Bryant, Micheala Davis Billy, Nick and Sarah Bourne, Gabriel Eaton, Anders Swanson and two great nieces, Olivia Sue Harris, and Paisley Marie

Chad’s greatest loves in life were his children and his family followed by his love of cooking.  A 1992 Graduate of Dwight High School, he played little league for the “Mets” back in the day and then was on the Dwight Trojan’s Basketball and Football Teams.  Chad was a lifelong Chef, beginning his career in Dwight at Jensen’s Pizza and then Turtle’s Tap. His love for cooking brought him throughout Illinois, North Carolina and Arizona with restaurants such as Applebee’s, Famous Dave’s and Paradise Bakery before heading to Nashville in 2014.  Chad loved Chicago Sports with the Bears and Cubs at the top of his list.  He also enjoyed a good game of Golf and Fishing in his spare time.  Chad was the life of the party and the mastermind behind many a joke.  He was the “Gentle Giant” and a best friend to all who knew and loved him.

A special Thank-You goes out to Aunt Liz and Uncle Eric Pennington, Donna and Bobby Adams, Mema and Papa Ulrich and all the other Ulrich clan for your love and support.  The family would also like to send a big thank you to all the friends and family that helped support Chad with his treatment plan and throughout his journey as well as the staff (Jan, Laura, Lindsay, Monica and Fran) at AIM-CIL for making Chad a priority and caring for him like family on his many visits to work with his sister Leigh Ann. Extra Special Thanks is also extended to Pontiac Health and Rehab Staff, Dr. Frank and his nurse Stephanie with DuPage Medical Group, Dr. Jason Suh with JOHA, Presence St. Joseph Hospital, and last but not least, Joliet Area Hospice Home.

A Celebration of Chad’s Life and Open House will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday September 1, 2016 at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 N. Broadway, Coal City, IL 60416

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Chad’s memory to his family for their distribution.
