Age 78 of Morris passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 4, 1935 in Joliet, Caroline was a daughter of Thomas and Eve Boutet-Stott. She was raised in Morris and graduated from Morris High School with the class of 1953. On January 1, 1957, Caroline married Kenneth Bell in Morris. She was employed as an operator from 1953 until 1967 with Illinois Bell Telephone Company, and worked from 1975 until 1992 for Doctors Ed and Tim Connor at the Morris Animal Clinic. Caroline then became the face of TBF Holding as landlord and part property owner. She enjoyed dancing, was a member and teacher of the Boot Kickers, served as an election judge and enjoyed vacationing in Las Vegas. Flowers were her passion and she was always trying to find new flowers to raise and show at the Grundy County Corn Festival Flower Show. Caroline enjoyed doing genealogy and spending time with family pets. Her greatest loves were her home, family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband: Kenneth; two sons: James (Vicki) Bell and Randy Bell (Kathy Carey) both of Morris; one sister: Ellen Allen of Huggins, Missouri; three grandchildren: Jonathan Bell of Hollywood, California, Kevin Bell of Morris and Sarah Bell of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers: Thomas (Phyllis) Stott and Roland (Jane) Stott both of Morris and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her special friend Cindy Burk.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation and video tribute will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 between the hours of 4:00pm and 8:00pm at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Funeral services will follow Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:30am in the funeral home. Reverend Dr. Roy Backus will officiate.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Caroline's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
