Carole Lee Sohan passed away at the age of 80 on Friday March 17, 2023 at Acadia Nursing home with family by her side.
Carole was born on December 16, 1942 in Chicago, IL to the late James Moran and Caroline (Tater) Moran. They moved to Mazon when Carole was young. She graduated from MVK High School the Class of 61. She was involved in Future Homemakers of America and Choir. After graduation she worked at Westinghouse in Montgomery, IL. She later married and raised her children in Morris, IL. She volunteered at ICS Catholic Church as a CCD teacher, then she was a barber at Sanitary Barber Shop in Morris. She later moved back to Mazon and worked at ITW until she retired.
Her passions were her children and grandchildren, reading a good book or watching Hallmark or Lifetime movies.
Carole is survived by her children Rebecca McComb of Morris, John Sohan of Mazon, Deb Sohan of Morris, and daughter-in-law, Heather Sohan of Morris, and grandchildren Joshua (Ashley Burke) McComb, Megan (Kevin and Owen) Smith of Morris, Luke (Angel) Sohan of Bettendorf, Iowa, Haley Sohan of Morris, and brother Jim Moran of Morris.
Preceded by her parents and son Michael Sohan.
The services are April 3, 2023 at 9 A.M. til time of Mass at 10 A.M. with burial after Mass for family at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flower, donations in Carole’s name to ICS School, Immaculate Conception Church or Lightways Hospice Joliet, IL.
