Carol Ann Miner

Age 61 of Gardner, passed away Sunday October 5, 2014 at Silver Cross Medical Center in New Lenox.

Born December 1, 1952 in Terra Haute, Indiana, Carol was a daughter of the late Jack and Ruthie (Fuller) Webb. She was a 1970 graduate of Joliet Central High School, and on June 13, 1970, Carol married Bill Miner in Joliet. She drove a bus for the Gardner South Wilmington Schools for 35 years, and will most be remembered for her dedication and love of her kids and grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years Bill; two children: Tonya (Darrin) Fisher and Henry (Michelle) Miner, both of Gardner; five grandchildren: Joshua Davidson, Jack Davidson, Riley Miner, Delaney Miner and Tanner Fisher; one great granddaughter Savannah Granger; two sisters: Deborah (Robert) Burns of Florida and Cheryl (Steve) Krouse of Joliet; two brothers-in-law: James (the late Doris) Miner of Oregon and Joe (Debbie) Cassineri of Gardner, and several nieces and nephews, as well as her special friends: Janette Steinhilber of Braidwood and Kristl Nicoletti and Charlene Ferrari, both of Gardner.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law Frances Boswell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 8, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service 7:30 p.m at Reeves Funeral Home, 203 Liberty Street in Gardner. Vitas Chaplain Vuanita Battle-Maze will officiate and green cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Carols memory to her family for their distribution.
