Age 74 of Tinley Park and formerly a long time resident of Matteson-Homewood, passed away Sunday June 15, 2014.

Carol was a longtime dental hygienist where she worked side by side with her husband Dr. Henry at their dental office. She was a graduate of Northwestern University with the Class of 1959. After graduating Carol stayed very dedicated to Northwestern and was Past President of the Northwestern Dental Alumni Association. She was a member of the John Evans Society, the G.V. Black District Dental Society, the Illinois Hygienists Association, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Homewood Historical Society. Carol was a dear friend to many and will be deeply missed by all know knew her.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Henry W. Freitag, D.D.S. Loving mother of Bonita Nugent and Henry L. (Sandra) Freitag. Dearest stepmother of Roger (Georgia) Freitag, Rod (Rhonda) Freitag, Dawn McBride, and Dana Freitag. Devoted grandmother of Kirstie, Paige, Kelli, Wesley, Wyatt, Erika, Ragan, Morgan, Chris, Greg, Jeff, and Leslie. Cherished great grandmother of Grace, Grant, Brandon, Evelyn, Eleanor, Jamison, Peter, and Hannah.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 between the hours of 2:00pm and 9:00pm at the Brady-Gill Funeral Home 16600 S. Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park a�" Roger Freitag Funeral Director. Funeral Services will follow on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church 6850 W. 159th St. Tinley Park with visitation from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00am. Interment in be in Bethania Cemetery, Justice.
