Carl J. Vanderpohl

Carl Vanderpohl of Dwight, IL died unexpectedly on October 24, 2024. He was born on June 17, 1977 to Irvin Vanderpohl Jr and Sharanne Duerstock in Greensburg, IN. He attended St. Mary's Elementary School and Greensburg Community High School. He graduated from South Decatur High School in 1995.

He is survived by his mother, brothers Irvin III (Shawna), Tony, and sisters Anne (Mike) Robbins, Shannon Sanders, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was proceeded in death by his father, paternal grandparents Irvin Sr and Mary Vanderpohl; maternal grandparents, Fred and Gladys Klene and step father Robert Duerstock.

In accordance with Carl's wishes, he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later time.

Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choosing.
