Carl A. Rosy, Jr.

Age 67 of Carbon Hill and formerly Romeoville, passed away Monday June 16, 2008 at Morris Hospital.

Born February 05, 1941 in Oak Park, Carl is the son of Anna (nee Garopplo) and the late Carl Rosy, Sr. He was employed for Valley View School District 365U in Romeoville and Bolingbrook for 32 years and retired as a Building Maintenance Supervisor in 2001. Carl was a member of Oak Park Sportsmen's Club and was a former volunteer Fireman in Romeoville.

Survivors include his wife Barbara (nee Ecker); four children: Barb (Mark) Rejsek of Spring Hill, Florida, Billy Rosy of Chicago, Tammy Rosy of Joliet and Toni (Aric) Ende of New Lenox; five grandchildren: Rebecca Rosy, Cory (Jeni) Rosy-Ende, Courtney Ende, Taylor Rejsek and Alyssa Ende; his mother Anna Rosy of Elmhurst and one sister Anna Mae (Ted, Jr.) Fusco of Elmhurst, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his father Carl Rosy, Sr. and one son Carl A. Rosy, III.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Thursday June 19, 2008 between the hours of 3:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Friday June 20th at 11:00AM in the funeral home with Dr. Thomas Logsdon officiating.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery and pallbearers will be: Tammy Rosy, Toni Ende, Aric Ende, Cory Rosy-Ende, Ted Fusco, Jr. and Ted Fusco, III.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Carl's memory to his family for distribution to charities of their choosing.
