Age 53 of Wilmington passed away Thursday April 30, 2009 at his residence.

Born November 9, 1955 in Joliet Illinois. Preceded in death by his Father George M. Ellis, Brother Michael, and nephew Christopher. Survived by his loving wife Lynn (Henkel) Ellis, Sons; Steven (Andrea) Ellis, Carl (C.J.) Ellis Jr. Grandchildren; Alessandra, Anthony, and Angelina Ellis. Mother, Shirley (Chamberlin) Ellis of Wilmington Brothers; Dan (Nancy) Ellis of Minooka and Brian (fiancAC.e Elaine) Ellis of Wilmington. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Employed by J.R Short Milling Co. of Kankakee Former Firefighter for the New Lenox and Frankfort Fire Departments for many years. Member of the Wilmington Moose lodge #241. In Lieu of flowers, memorials for the wishes of the family would be appreciated. Visitation at the Freitag Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday May 4, 2009. A memorial ceremony by the Wilmington Moose lodge will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 10 A.M at the funeral home. Pastor Ron Taylor of Island City Baptist Church in Wilmington will officiate. Procession and committal service to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
