Age 48 of Joliet, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 10, 2007 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born April 04, 1959 in Evergreen Park, Illinois, Brian was a son of the late Frank and Gloria Perkins-Ziga. Brian was a veteran of the US Navy and then worked for the department of Army on the Patriot Missals Systems, where he was an electrical engineer. Currently Brian was employed by Napa Automotive in Joliet.

Survivors include four brothers: Randy (Carleen) Ziga of Joliet, Scott (April) Ziga of Chicago, Tim (Lori) Ziga of Indiana and John (April) Ziga of Arizona. Three sisters: Barbara Gerber of Orland Park, Michelle (Anthony) Spalla of Tinley Park and Susie Ziga of Matteson. One aunt Judy (Donald) Pollack of Alsip and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 15, 2007 between the hours of 4:00PM and 7:00PM and Thursday August 16th from 9:00AM until time of funeral services 10:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Deacon Donald Dyer from Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington will officiate and burial with full military honors will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
