Brett Alan George
Age 31 of Aurora and formerly Plainfield, passed away Friday March 5, 2010.
Born May 13, 1978 in Morris, Brett is a son of Robin nee Murphy and Alan C. George. He was raised and educated in Plainfield and was known to be a fantastic artist and writer. Brett was a sports enthusiast and a fan of the Chicago Bulls, Bears and White Sox.
Survivors include his parents: Robin Oliva of Aurora and Alan (Janet) George of Cape Coral, Florida; step mother Joanne George of Titusville, Florida; step-father John Oliva; one son Matthew of Kentucky; three sisters: Carey George-Crandall, Kelly George-Keith (Jacob) and Amanda George-Benigno (Jack); three brothers: Nick George, Kyle George and James Deckard; two step-sisters: Michelle Fisher and Lisa Oliva; maternal grandparents: Janet Murphy and Jerry (Janet) Murphy and paternal grandparents: Mary Landa and Roger (Carol) George, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 12, 2010 from 9:00AM until 10:45AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 514 East Jackson Street in Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Richard L. Smith officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Alan C. George, Roger George, Scott George, Christian Crandall, Colton Crandall and James Deckard.
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Brett's memory to his family for distribution to charities of their choosing.
