Brent Nielsen

Brent W. Nielsen

Age 48 of Wilmington and formerly Braidwood, passed away Monday November 3, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Born July 25, 1960 in Morris, Brent is a son of Ruth Griffin-Nielsen of Wilmington and the late Floyd Nielsen.

Survivors include his mother; five brothers and three sisters: Tracy (Denise) Nielsen and Grant Nielsen, both of Braidwood, Rona Craig of Wilmington, Marsha (Greg) Klimes of Minnesota, Coletta (John) Bruce of Oregon, Mark Nielsen of Wilmington, Chris Nielsen of California and Cary (Christy) Nielsen of Florida; one aunt Ada Slavik and one uncle Bob (Kay) Griffin, both of Indiana, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Brent was preceded in death by his father in 1999; maternal grandmother Lena Griffin and paternal grandparents: Emil and Hannah Nielsen.

A benefit and celebration of Brent's life will be held at the Rustic Inn in Wilmington on Saturday November 15, 2008, beginning at 8:00PM.
