Brandon Edward Gibson

Age 39 of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his home.

Born November 7, 1976 in Kankakee, Brandon is a son of Betty Jean (Gundy) Gibson and Edward Gibson.

Survivors include his mother Betty Gibson of Wilmington; father Edward (Charlotte) Gibson of Lebanon, Tennessee and brother Benjamin Gibson of Wilmington.

As a special needs child, Brandon was a demonstration of the true meaning of love. He was a child that showed us that a twinkle in an eye says more than any word, and that a simple hug can give you the stength to keep moving.

Private graveside services were held in Wesley Cemetery in Ritchie, where Brandon was laid to rest with his grandparents. Pastor Caleb Counterman from Faith Baptist Church of Morris officiated.
