Billy Glen Daniels

Age 57 of Wilmington, passed away Thursday evening, April 30, 2015 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born May 18, 1957 in Mount Vernon, Billy is a son of Peggy (Bruce) Daniels of Wilmington and the late Glen Daniels.  He was raised and educated in Wilmington and graduated from Wilmington High School with the Class of 1976.  Billy previously worked for Cornerstone Services in Joliet for more than 20 years in their maintenance department.  He enjoyed spending his free time as a fisherman and watching Westerns.

Survivors include his mother; two children: Jacqueline Daniels of Naperville and Jacob Daniels of Morris; three siblings: Patti (Bill) Calhoon, Randy (Kathy) Daniels and Tammy (John) McCormick, all of Wilmington; nieces and nephews: Miranda and Laura Calhoon, Glennden (Sara) and Katrina Daniels, and Morgan and John McCormick, as well as his great nephew Drew and great niece Ali.

Billy was preceded in death by his father Glen and his brother Kevin Daniels.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 7, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery Sunset Addition in Wilmington, where graveside services will be officiated by Reverend Tom Kingery of First United Methodist Church in Wilmington.
