Beverly Yvonne Anderson, 84, of Minooka, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Morris Hospital with her family by her side.
Born September 1, 1936 in Morris, the daughter of Stanley and Bertha (Hoge) Hall. She graduated from Newark High School with the class of 1954. Beverly married Donald Anderson on March 26, 1955 at the Lisbon Bethlehem Lutheran Church. They lived all of their married life on the farm in Lisbon Township. For several years she was employed as Chief Deputy in the Kendall County Circuit Clerk office.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Don: her children, Cheryl (Mike) Wallin of Minooka and Gary (Stacey) Anderson of Sheridan; six grandchildren, Kevin (Natalie) Wallin, Scott (Sally) Wallin, Lisa (Bill) McDonnell, Russell (Cynthia Hunke) Anderson, Lucy Anderson and Elsa Anderson; seven great grandchildren, Blake, Payton, Brooklyn, Allison, Lane and Reese Wallin and Brady McDonnell; one brother, Ralph (Pat) Hall; one sister, Lynnette (Ralph) Johnson.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one great grandson, Brandon McDonnell; four brothers, Don, William, George and Robert Hall; two sisters, Margaret Condon and Barbara Hawkins.
She was a lifetime member of the Lisbon Bethlehem Lutheran Church and had a passion for sewing and creating miniature quilts and crafts. Bev especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s in honor of her great grandson, Brandon.
Private memorial services for the family will be held at the Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris with Rev. Craig Benson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
