Betty J. Udstuen

Betty J. Udstuen, 90, of Morris, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet.
Born December 14, 1933 in Morris, she was the daughter of Oscar and Gertrude (Nolte) Udstuen. She graduated from Morris High school. For several years she was employed at Grundy County Nursing Home.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary ( Frank, deceased) Laursen of Morris and Bernice Dent of Ohio; one brother, Robert Udstuen of Ohio; her son, Scott Udstuen of Chicago; her daughter-in-law, Jayne (David, deceased) Udstuen of Morris; one granddaughter, Kimberly Moreno of Morris; two great grandsons, Alexander Udstuen and Jacob Moreno.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her granddaughter, Lanette Udstuen.
She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, nieces, nephew and friends.
Memorials may be given to Lightways Hospice.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris with Pastor Steve Larson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 A.M until time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Morris.
