Betty June Olson

Betty June Olson, 95, of Morris, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at The Gardens at Park Pointe in Morris.
Born March 25, 1927 in Morris, she was the daughter of George and Gertrude (Williams) Hansen. She graduated from Morris Community High School with the class of 1945. Betty married Ansley Olson on December 7, 1946 at Stavanger Lutheran Church. They lived all of their married life in Morris.
She is survived by her children, Greg (Donna) Olson of Verona, Pamela (Alan) Siron of Morris and Jeffrey Olson of Highland Park; her grandchildren, Kate-Lynn (Dustin) Geier, Brent (Tammy) Edmundson, Kelly (Kurt) Kruger, Noah (Karissa) Olson, Chase (Karen) Olson, Ashley Olson and Emma Olson; 12 great grandchildren; her brother, Harold (Ruth) Hansen of Pa; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Hansen and Jean Hansen both of Morris; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ansley in 1988; her brothers, George, Lowell and James Hansen; her sisters, Marjorie Scaman, Ruth Brancato and Norma Olson.
Betty enjoyed cooking, watching TV and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris with Pastor Phil Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
