Barbara A. Price

Barbara A. Price, 85, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, formerly of Lisbon, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Shorewood with her family by her side.
Born August 7, 1937 in Morris, she was the daughter of Gilford and Nettie (Simpson) Peterson. She received her education in schools of Morris. Barb married Gerald Steffes on December 20, 1952. All their married life they spent farming in the Lisbon area. He preceded her in death in 1991. Later, Barb married Charles Price in May 20, 1994. All their married life they spent traveling between Arkansas and Arizona. She is survived by her husband Charles Price, her children, Rick (Carolyn) Steffes of Mazon, Susan (Gary) Davidson of Oswego, Scott (Jean) Steffes of Lisbon, Wendy (Dwight) Klein of Shorewood; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three sister-in-law’s, Carole, Cheryl, Sonja Peterson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers Don, Tom and Bob Peterson.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. Barb enjoyed traveling, baking and enjoying time with her family.
Memorials may be directed to Vitas Hospice or American Heart Association.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Morris with Fr. Jason Stone officiating and internment will follow in Lisbon Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 4-7 pm at the Fruland Funeral Home at 121 W. Jefferson Street Morris, Illinois.
