Age 83 of Coal City, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Born May 12, 1932 in Coal City, Barbara Faye was a daughter of the late Earl and Matilda (Facinelli) Sayers. She was a graduate of Coal City High School, and on August 6, 1950, Barbara married Edward Philip "Red" Finger in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Coal City. She was an active member of the Coal City United Methodist Church, and previously owned and operated "Sip n Stuf" in Coal City with her late husband Red. Barbara enjoyed her friends, and took pleasure in playing cards and going out to eat.

Survivors include her three children: David (Maxine) Finger and Duane "Rusty" (Karen) Finger, both of Englewood, Florida and Donna (Art) Bertheaume of Diamond; five grandchildren: Nathan (April) Albrecht of Carbon Hill, Megan (Todd) Gilkerson of Venice, Florida, Kristi Albrecht of Coal City, Kelsi Bertheaume of Diamond and Kati Bertheaume of Joliet; ten great grandchildren: Colin and Vivian Gilkerson, Lauren, Amanda and Dana Albrecht, Cole Albrecht, Sophia, Savanah and Jasmin Berrong and Mason Joyce; one sister-in-law Patricia (the late Norman) Sayers of Coal City and two special cousins: Delores Provance of Diamond and Bertha McMillin of Coal City.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband Red (2011) and brother Norman Sayers.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Monday September 14, 2015 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Cremation rites will then be accorded, and a memorial service will follow Tuesday morning, September 15th in Coal City United Methodist Church, 6805 East McArdle Road in Coal City at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Brad Shumaker will officiate and a private family inurnment will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Barbara's memory to the Coal City United Methodist Church.
