Age 57 of Morris, passed away Sunday January 17, 2010 at Ottawa Regional Hospital in Ottawa, Illinois.

Born January 20, 1952 in Berwyn, Barb is a daughter of Donald "Mac" and the late Celine McCauley. She was raised and educated in the Romeoville area and was a very dear and close friend to many.

Survivors include her husband Stanley M. Etter, whom she married on September 5, 1982 in Joliet; two children: Rick Strickland and Stacy (Mitchell) Brown; her father Donald McCauley; one sister Donna (Joe) Garza; three brothers: James (Barb) McCauley, Steve (Guinn) McCauley and William McCauley; one brother-in-law Steven (Cathy) Etter and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of great friends.

Barb was preceded in death by her mother and one sister Lynn Utke.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 22, 2010 from 4:00PM until time of celebration of life 7:30PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Barb's memory to her family for distribution to charities that help local families in need.
