Anita Kay Paul

Age 46 of Goose Lake, passed away suddenly Sunday January 14, 2007 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born July 03, 1960 in Rensselaer, Indiana, Anita was a daughter of the late Samuel M. and Tobitha H. (Wagoner) Caldwell. She was raised and educated in Wheatfield, Indiana and graduated with the Kankakee Valley High School Class of 1978. On August 20, 1988 Anita married Michael Paul in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and together they have lived they entire married life in Goose Lake. Anita was on the Board of Directors with Goose Lake Association and was very involved with the holiday and kids events at the Club. She was a member of the Wilmington Garden Club and truly enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her husband Michael; brothers and sisters: Barbara (Howard) Becker of Seneca, Illinois, Jerry Caldwell of Wheatfield, Indiana, Bonnie Solomey of Tombstone, Arizona and Dick Caldwell of Wheatfield, Indiana; one uncle: Raymond Caldwell of Kouts, Indiana; step-mother: Joan Caldwell of Wheatfield, Indiana; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Edward G. and Barbara Paul of Wilmington, Illinois; two brothers-in-law: Patrick Paul of Pekin, Illinois and Edward (Susan) Paul of Channahon, Illinois; two sisters-in-law: Barbara (David) Hughes of Channahon, Illinois and Madeline Caldwell of Crown Point, Indiana. (19) Nieces and Nephews and (22) Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Tom Caldwell.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2007 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Thursday January 18, 2007 at 11:00AM in the funeral home with Dr. Thomas Logsdon from the Coal City United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery and pallbearers will be: Shane Solomey, Michael Solomey, Ryan Caldwell, Brandon Caldwell, Jon Lunn and James Piazza.
