Age 83 of Coal City, passed away Friday March 19, 2010 at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris.

Born June 10, 1926 in Coal City, Angelo was a son of the late Bill and Minnie Spese-Squellati. On January 30, 1945, Angelo married Elaine Swartz in Assumption Catholic Church and together they lived their entire married life in Coal City, where they shared 65 years together. Angelo worked for A.P. Green for 35 years and was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. He loved traveling and helping people out. You could always find Angelo tinkering in his garage or out in the yard. He also adored the cat he had.

Survivors include his wife Elaine, son Charles (Sally) Squellati and daughter Deborah (Michael) Youskevtch, all of Coal City; grandchildren: Paul Biros of Mazon and Ronda (Brian) Brewer and Anthony Squellati, both of Coal City; five great grandchildren: Haley Biros and Breann, Madalyn, Tyler and Sadey Brewer, all of Coal City; one sister Margaret O'Bert of Wilmington; two sisters-in-law: Eleanore Jacklich of Coal City and Inez Patterson of North Port, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Angelo was preceded in death by his parents and one brother William Squellati.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday March 25, 2010 at 9:30AM in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 245 South Kankakee Street in Coal City. Revered Robert Noesen will officiate and a private interment will follow in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Angelo's memory to the Assumption Catholic Church Building Fund, 245 South Kankakee Street, Coal City, Illinois 60416, Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431 or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
