Angeline Menietto
Age 100 and a lifelong resident of Coal City passed away Saturday November 04, 2006 at Miller Health Care Center in Kankakee.
Born April 02, 1906 in Coal City, Angeline was a daughter of the late Antonio and Dominica (Viano) Menietto. Angeline resided in Coal City her entire life and was a retired teacher, having taught in Carbon Hill, Laymon, Eureka, Assumption Elementary and Coal City Grade School.
Angeline was the proud aunt of 12 nieces and nephews: Lorene (Wayne) Roseland, Corene Peters, Annette Schock, Richard (Marilyn) Campbell, Diane (Frank) Jirousek, Joyce (Joseph) Palermo, Raymond (Betty) Manietta, A.J. Manietta, John (Mary) Manietta, Joan Klover, Roseann Manietta and the late Carl Manietta and 120 Great, Great-Great and Great-Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, one bother Anton Manietta, two sisters: Lorene Campbell and Jennie Zambon and one nephew Carl Manietta.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 06, 2006 between the hours of 5:00PM and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday November 7th at 10:00AM in Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Mike Pennock officiating. Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Raymond Manietta, A.J. Manietta, John Manietta, Frank Jirousek, Joe Palermo and Richard Campbell.
