Age 93, passed away peacefully in Largo, Florida on July 28, 2012.

Born November 9, 1918 in Warrick County, Indiana, Alberta was a daughter of the late Oscar and Marie Bullock. She was a world traveler, active member of the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington, United Methodist Women and taught Sunday School. Alberta also belonged to the Illinois Norsk Rosemalers' Association, Illinois Farm Bureau, Garden Club of Wilmington, The Wilmington Library Book Club, The Society of Decorative Painters, and Largo Community Center.

People will remember Alberta for her love of skiing and swimming, participating in the Summer/Winter Senior Olympics, decorative painting and playing Bridge. She was also a poll worker at the elections.

Survivors include two daughters: Neva (George) Weymer and Loretta (Larry) Lacy; one son Marion Paul (Deborah) Vote; one step-son Kent Murray and step daughter Mary Ray; ten grandchildren: Elizabeth (Tim) Harvey, George and Paul Weymer, Brenda (Steve) Coartney, Kathy (Mike) Cornett, Stephanie (Brad) Southall, Samantha (Brett) Barry, Jason Vote, Jonathon (Jennifer) Vote and Joshua (Rowena) Vote; thirteen great-grandchildren: Samantha, James, Timothy and Grace Harvey, Amber, Jake and Rachael Coartney, Sara and Haley Southall, Ella and Jack Barry, and Joseph and Jaxon Vote, and one sister Sandra (John) Della Ratta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents: Oscar and Marie Bullock; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen and Holbert Bryan and Doris and Melvin Hentze; one brother and sister-in-law: Oscar and Delores Bullock; her first husband Marion P. "Shorty" Vote and second husband Martin S. Murray.

A celebration of Alberta's life will held on September 15, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, 401 East Kahler Road in Wilmington from 10:00AM until time of Memorial Service 12:00 Noon. Pastor Jae Lee will officiate and inurnment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Alberta's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
