Age 72 of Morris, formerly of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Embassy Care Center in Wilmington.

Born, June 18, 1936 in Clarksville, Tennessee, Albert was a son of the late George W. and Mary Lena Lovallen-Hudgens. He was raised and educated in Tennessee, where he was a lifelong tobacco farmer. A.B. loved country music, square dancing and NASCAR.

Survivors include two brothers and two sisters: George L. (the late Delores) Hudgens of Joliet, Sible (William) Valentine of Morris, Nelson R. (the late Ruby) Hudgens of Louisville, Kentucky, and Stella (the late Bill) Drabek of New Lenox, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Albert was preceded in death his parents George W. and Mary Lena Lovallen-Hudgens; three brothers and four sisters: Helen Love, George W Hudgens, Evelyn Evans, Louise Pace, Mary Rebecca Powers, Ervin L Hudgens and James A. Hudgens.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 22, 2008 at 11:00AM in Cherry Hill Church of Christ, 2749 Lancaster Drive in New Lenox. Brother Sherrill R. Cox will officiate

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in A.B.'s memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
