Alan Glen White

Age 64 of Pekin, passed away Monday morning February 15, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center of Illinois in Peoria.

Born September 28, 1945 in Morris, Alan was a son of Elmer William White and Betty Louise Hume-Schoonover. He was raised and educated in the Morris and Coal City area and proudly served in the United States Marines. Alan was known for his love of the outdoors, mushroom hunting, fishing, camping, hunting and gardening.

Survivors include his two sisters: Cindy (Rick) Austin of Michigan and Patricia (James) Jones of Morton, Illinois as well as one niece and three nephews.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew Jason Kaiser.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside memorial will be held on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 10:30AM in Evergreen Cemetery in Morris.
