Age 94 of Morris and formerly Ottawa, passed away Wednesday morning November 25, 2009 at Walnut Grove Village in Morris.

Born January 11, 1915 in Racine, WI, Adele was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Doleski-Banis. Adele was known for her love of sewing, embroidery, reading, traveling, collecting maps and recipes and gardening. She enjoyed being involved with 4-H and was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Addison, IL. Adele truly loved the time spent with her children and had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include three children: Carole (Edward) Mayer of Morris, Emily Heffel of Chicago and Elaine Carner of Rockford; grandchildren: Mark (Carla) Mayer of Naperville, Kevin (Eva) Mayer of Geneva, Mary Beth (Bill) Pfaff of Morris and Steven (Dawnette) Heffel of Billings, Montana and great grandchildren: Justin Mayer, Bekah Pappas, Rachel Mayer, Ryan Garab, Madeleine Pfaff, Anna Pfaff, Valerie Pfaff, Sophie Pfaff, Nathan Heffel, Alexa Heffel, Isaiah Heffel and Abigail Heffel, as well as numerous extended family member in Racine, Wisconsin.

Adele was preceded in death by her parents; husband David Heffel on April 3, 1995, daughter Judy Barth and sister Antoinette Banis.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Sunday November 29, 2009 from 3:00PM until time of service 4:45PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Dr. Roy Backus from the First Presbyterian Church of Morris will officiate and interment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine, Wisconsin.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Adele's memory to the Walnut Grove Activities Department.
