Tina Lee Conway

Age 57 of Custer Park, formerly of Country Club Hills, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her home.

Born October 25, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana, Tina was a daughter of Robert and Elisabeth (Reiter) Flossman. She was raised and educated in Country Club Hills, and graduated from Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields. On August 6, 1988, Tina married Joseph J. Conway, Jr. at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Mokena, and together they would make their home in Custer Park.

Tina worked as a sheet metal worker for Climatemp Service Group in Chicago, and later became a certified nail technician and worked for Teresa’s Styling in Wilmington. She also drove a school bus for the Wilmington School District for many years. Tina enjoyed handcrafts such as knitting, quilting and sewing, and loved to spend time outside working in her yard. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Conway, Jr. of Custer Park, two sisters: Toni (Keith) Brackin of Paris, Tennessee and Elissa Flossman of Lowell, Indiana; one brother-in-law, Kevin Conway of Mokena, and eleven nieces and nephews: Greg, Heather, Kevin, Jr., Brianne, Linze, Jennifer, Krystle, Joshua, Scott, Jr., David, and Angelica.

Per Tina’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

The family will receive friends for a COVID observant memorial visitation on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Due to current guidelines, all attendees will be required to wear facemasks and respect current social distancing standards.

A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00 p.m., with Reverend Dr. Roy Backus officiating.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Tina’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
