Jennifer Herron

Age 36 of Morris, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday June 28, 2018 at Morris Hospital.

Born August 1, 1981 in Joliet, Jennifer Lynne is a daughter of David and Cynthia (Abrahamson) Krause of Minooka. She was raised and educated in Minooka; graduated from Minooka High School with the Class of 2000, and went on to attend Joliet Junior College. On May 21, 2005, Jen married Cole Herron in Immaculate Conception Church in Morris, and together they made their home in Morris.

Jen was currently employed in the office of Dr. John Bolden in Morris, and previous worked as a CNA at Morris Hospital for numerous years. She was also an active member of the Immaculate Conception School Parents Club.

As a dedicated wife and mother, Jen will be most remembered as a woman of strong faith, who had a deep love of family, and made a positive impact on everyone God put into her life.

Survivors include her parents; husband Cole; two sons, Brady and Chase; siblings: Kristen (Bob) Armbrister of Portage, MI, John (Anna) Krause of Oswego, Kimberly (Alex) Macier of Minooka/Plainfield, Kelsey (Matt) Higgenbotham of Portage, MI and Kailee Krause of Minooka; (11) nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Linda Nagra-Herron and numerous aunts and uncles including: Sharon and Jack Farber of Morris and Tim and Gail Nagra of Manteno.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 600 East Jackson Street in Morris on Sunday, July 1, 2018 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow Monday morning, July 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Ed Howe, CR presiding.

Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Morris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for their distribution.
