Brian Scott Belter

Age 45 of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday March 29, 2016 at his home.

Born August 31, 1970 in Blue Island, Brian is a son of the late Robert David and Margaret Irene (Daly) Belter. He was raised and educated in Oak Forest, and on October 11, 1991, Brian married Mary Therese McIntire in Midlothian. He was a member of the Wilmington Lions Club and the Will County Farm Bureau. Brian worked as a Maintenance Mechanic Foreman, holding employment with Borg Warner in Frankfort, and most recently Gonnella Bread Company in Aurora. A man of strong work ethic, Brian was a hard worker, who was proud to also be a hay farmer. He loved his Farm-All tractors, trucks and animals.  Brian enjoyed the outdoors and nature, and cherished his friends. His family was very important to him.

Survivors include his loving wife Mary; beloved father and mother-in-law Bill and JoAnne McIntire of Midlothian, whom were especially dear to him; brothers and sisters: Robert (Rhonda) Belter, Allen Belter, Michael (Lisa) Belter, Debra Belter, Karen Seneczko, Patricia (Jeff) Spencer and Kevin (Kristi) Belter; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill (Deb) McIntire of Monee, Trinity (John) Gorz of Tinley Park, Tim (Donna) McIntire of Algonquin, Melissa (Vince) Szymczak of New Lenox, Shannon (Christian) Roehrig of Plainfield and Steven (Jennifer) McIntire of Elburn; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends, as well as his fellow Lions.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents: Chalice and Arthur Belter and Clarence and Gertrude Dudley.

Cremation rites have been accorded per Brian's wishes, and a Celebration of Life for family and friends was held at Christian Faith Center, 1800 South Water Street in Wilmington on Saturday, April, 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Brian's memory to the Wilmington Lions Club, 805 River Street, P.O. Box 662, Wilmington, Illinois 60481.
